Order Information

Order Status

To check the status of your order, please use the Order Status link on the top right of every page. To view the order information, enter the tracking number that was emailed to you when your order was placed. If you don't have your tracking number, enter your email address and a link will be sent to you shortly. If you have a problem accessing your order status, please contact customer service at sales@knockknockstuff.com or (800) 656-5662.

Placing an Order

The best way to place an order is through this website. Find your items by returning to the homepage and using the navigation categories on the left or by using the Search function at the top right of every page. On any individual item page, click the Add to Cart button to add that item to your shopping cart. You can continue shopping or choose Secure Checkout to complete your purchase. You will be guided through the checkout process step by step—shopping cart review, shipping options, payment, and confirmation.

Payment Methods

The website accepts credit card payment by Visa and MasterCard only. We do not accept mail orders paid by checks or money orders, and we do not accept American Express or Discover.

Order Changes

If all the items you’ve ordered are in stock, clicking the Complete Purchase button (at the end of checkout) immediately sends your order to our warehouse for processing and shipping. Once the warehouse receives the order, it cannot be changed.

If you have an order that is being held because of a back order and you want to ship the available items (or cancel the order), please contact customer service at sales@knockknockstuff.com or (800) 656-5662. If the back-ordered item arrives in stock before we respond to your email, however, the order will be released to our warehouse and shipped.

Back Order Policies

Occasionally the Knock Knock product(s) you covet may be out of stock. This will be indicated on the product page, which will display the estimated ship date, as well as in your shopping cart and on your checkout invoice. You may, of course, opt not to put an out-of-stock item in your cart. If you prefer not to order out-of-stock items, you can ask to be notified when the product is back in stock. If you place an out-of-stock item in your cart, you will have the option to remove it upon checkout.

If you choose to Ship When Available, we will send your order in two separate shipments. You will only be charged shipping for items that are in stock. Your shipping charge will be calculated by the weight of the currently shipping items in your order, not including the back-ordered item(s). When the back-ordered item(s) return to stock, the remainder of your order will ship. Whether you choose to Ship When Complete or Ship When Available, your credit card will not be charged for the item(s) or shipping until the item(s) ship. For Ship When Complete, this means your credit card will be charged again at the later date when your complete package ships.

For out-of-stock items, estimated ship dates are indeed estimates. While we try to estimate as accurately as possible, sometimes manufacturing situations beyond our control cause additional tardiness. If you have any questions about back-ordered or out-of-stock items, please contact us. You can cancel a back order at any time by contacting customer service at sales@knockknockstuff.com or 800-656-5662.

Sales Tax

We are required by the state of California to charge sales tax to any order being shipped to a California address.

Gift Messages and Wrapping

At this time, we do not offer this service. Any orders shipped to a third party will include a packing list (without prices) and the name of the individual who placed the order.

Gift Certificates

We do not currently offer gift certificates.

Will-Call Services

We do not stock inventory at our Venice office, and our warehouse does not provide order pickup services.

Returns

Return Policy

Unused, unopened merchandise in original packaging and pristine condition can be returned for a refund or exchange within 30 days of the customer’s receipt of order. Returns due to no fault of Knock Knock will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping costs will not be refunded. For policies on returns of defective and/or damaged goods, see the Damaged and/or Defective Products section below.

Please follow the instructions below for ALL returns:

1. Contact customer service at sales@knockknockstuff.com or (800) 656-5662 to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Please write this number on the box or on the address label. Packages received without an RA# will be refused and returned to sender.

2. Packages must be shipped via insured U.S. mail or the traceable parcel carrier of your choice (such as FedEx or UPS). CODs will not be accepted.

3. Knock Knock is not responsible for any packages lost by the carrier. Knock Knock will refund ground shipping costs for those items that were shipped in error or received damaged and/or defective.

Return Authorizations

All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Any package returned without an RA# will be refused and returned to sender. Please see our Return Policy above for instructions.

Damaged and/or Defective Products

Items shipped in error or received damaged can be returned for refund or exchange within 5 days of customer’s receipt of order. Knock Knock will refund ground shipping costs for the return of any item shipped in error or received damaged and/or defective. Damaged packaging should be kept for inspection by the carrier. Please see our Return Policy above for notification and shipping instructions.

Warranties

Any product purchased on knockknockstuff.com is guaranteed to be free from defects for a period of 90 days from receipt of your order. If you think your product is defective within the 90-day period, please contact customer service at sales@knockknockstuff.com or (800) 656-5662 to arrange for a refund or exchange. Please see our Return Policy above for instructions.

If you did not purchase the item on our website, please contact the retail store where you made your purchase.

Shipping

Shipping Options

We offer domestic delivery services with FedEx and the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Specific options are determined by your zip code and order weight. Ground shipments are normally sent FedEx Ground. You can also choose from among express shipping options—overnight, 2-day, and 3-day services.

FedEx cannot deliver to post-office boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Orders shipping to these types of addresses must be sent via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). We only offer standard mail USPS services.

Unfortunately, USPS packages cannot be tracked. Knock Knock is not responsible for lost, stolen, or otherwise missing packages shipped via USPS. Packages sent via USPS Parcel Post typically reach their domestic destination within 5-10 business days, though can sometimes take as long as 3 weeks, depending on rain, sleet, snow, and/or disgruntlement. Neither USPS or Knock Knock can guarantee delivery times with USPS Parcel Post.

When your package ships with FedEx, you will receive a shipping notification email with a tracking number. You will be able to use that number to track your package both on our site and on FedEx’s site. Package tracking is NOT available for USPS packages.



Delivery Times

If your order is placed by 10:30 a.m. PST and all the items you ordered are in stock, your order will be processed and shipped within 2 business days. Sometimes we get a little backed up, but the longest it can take for in-stock items is 5 days (and we pretty much say that just to cover ourselves).

If you choose an expedited shipping method, such as 2-day or overnight, your order will be flagged as urgent and will go out the same day it is placed if the order is transmitted before 10:30 a.m. PST; after 10:30 a.m. PST, expedited orders will go out no later than the following business day.

Packages are shipped from Reno, Nevada. Approximate delivery times for standard (FedEx) ground shipping, not including order processing of up to 48 hours, are:
  • West Coast: 1–3 business days*
  • Midwest: 4–5 business days*
  • East Coast: 5–6 business days*
* Rural areas may take an additional 1 to 2 days.

Approximate delivery times for USPS Parcel Post shipping, not including order processing of up to 48 hours, are:
  • West Coast: 2–5 business days
  • Midwest: 6–7 business days
  • East Coast: 7–8 business days

Shipping rates are based on method, weight, and distance from Reno, Nevada. You can estimate shipping costs by using our shipping calculator, accessible from your shopping cart.

After you’ve filled your shopping cart, click the Shopping Cart button located in the upper right corner of every page. Your shopping cart details will appear, displaying all your chosen items. Under Calculate Tax & Shipping, enter your country, zip code, and preferred shipping method, then click the Calculate button.

International Shipping

FedEx International and the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) are available for select countries in Europe and Asia. Shipping rates are based on carrier, weight, size, and destination.

USPS packages cannot be tracked. Knock Knock is not responsible for lost, stolen, or otherwise missing packages shipped via USPS. Packages sent internationally via USPS airmail typically arrive within 2 weeks though can sometimes take as long as 8 weeks.

Packages sent via FedEx International can be tracked and typically arrive within 3–5 business days after leaving our warehouse.

International Fees

The shipping cost reflected during the checkout process does not include any import fees, taxes, customs duties, brokerage fees, distribution fees, or any other charge applied by institutions and organizations other than Knock Knock. The customer is solely responsible for these fees and any other additional fees that may apply. Please check with your local customs agency for more information; unfortunately, we cannot quote these costs for you.

All Knock Knock products are available to wholesale accounts; indeed, wholesale is the lion’s share of our business, and we love our noble retailers. Please email wholesale@knockknockstuff.com or call (800) 656-5662 for more information.

To receive a wholesale catalog, please visit Become a Retailer and complete the form—be sure to check the Request a Catalog box. If you’re legit, we will send you a catalog and forward your information to your friendly future sales rep.

Minimum Orders

Initial wholesale orders have a $200 minimum and must be paid by credit card. The reorder minimum is $100.

Availability

All products are subject to availability and prior sale. Occasionally inventory discrepancies may incorrectly display items as available on our website. If this occurs, your order will be held and you will be notified of the error before your order is processed. If we cannot reach you by email or phone, your order will automatically be shipped without the available item.

Color Representation

Knock Knock has made every effort to ensure that our website images represent actual product colors. With variations in monitors and other computer components, however, we cannot guarantee that the colors you see are accurate.

Security Policy

At Knock Knock, protecting your information is a top priority. The use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology guarantees that shopping on knockknockstuff.com is secure. When you enter your credit card number, SSL encrypts all personal information, including your card number and your name and address.

The web server logs your IP address in standard server logs to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website.

We require some information for shipping and billing. About Us

Knock Knock was founded on January 1, 2002, by Jen Bilik, with the mission of creating interesting, smart, well-designed gift and stationery products, along with anything else that might strike the Knock Knock fancy.

Our sensibility is proudly distinct, in contrast to the overwhelming homogenization and conservatism that characterize committee-created corporate product. We believe that many people are intelligent enough to appreciate wit, wordplay, and conceptual thinking, so we strive not to dumb down as we create.

At Knock Knock we enjoy our work and delight in infusing our product with the fun we feel while making it. We operate out of light-filled loft studios in Venice, California, a fantasy locale if ever there was one. Our team now numbers fifteen, a lean, productive group of amazing people who do everything from creating our products and books to overseeing the all-important logistical dynamics of manufacturing, sales, and distribution.

Unsolicited Product Ideas

Sadly we cannot accept unsolicited ideas. While theoretically we would love to hear your thoughts, we live in a litigious “But I had a similar idea! Pay me!” society. Therefore we put ourselves at risk by accepting unsolicited suggestions, so we won’t accept them in any form or medium.

Should you defy this notice and submit an idea nonetheless, we are obligated to inform you that not only will we not read it or respond to you, we will probably perform some sort of legally protective ceremonial idea-burning. Please, don’t blame us—instead, do your part to end this trend of frivolous lawsuits, and maybe someday we’ll be able to open an idea conversation.
